St. Peters Marthoma Church UK

St. Peter’s Mar Thoma Church, London held a reception meeting on 23^rd May 2010 to welcome the new vicar Rev. Sabu C. Mathew & his wife Margaret, daughters Angel and Jewel to the church. Rev. Sabu Mathew is from Eranakulam, Kerala and his home parish is Chemmarappally Bethel MTC. After his ordination he served in Ankola Ashramam and various churches such as Manganam St. Peter’s, Thiruvankulam Immanuel, Ambalamedu Sinai, Elamkulam Jerusalem, Nellikunnam Immanuel, Vilangara St. Thomas etc. He is now transferred from Kanakappalam Jerusalem Mar Thoma Church, Erumely.

The reception meeting was at St. Luke’s Church, Ilford and presided by Vice-President Mr. Daniel Samuel. The parish secretary Mr. Sam P George welcomed the vicar and his family. The church choir and Sunday school students presented welcome songs.

St. Peter’s Mar Thoma Church is easily accessible to everyone living in East & North London, Essex, Basildon, Cambridge etc. The worship is being held on every Sunday at 3.00 pm at St. Luke’s Church, Baxter Road, Ilford IG1 2HN. New members and guests are welcome.
